Short description

Season of Hope by Ayesha Chaudhry

"You came when the empire was built. When he was no more a carefree boy. You met him as a fully grown up man who knew how to put a humble smile on his face and how to blend every quality of his personality in equal proportions to keep the equilibrium but have you ever thought what have you missed?

You have missed that portion of his lifetime when he laughed with all his heart. Could you imagine the fear in his eyes as a boy who was once worried about his future? A boy who cried so hard whenever he was brutally treated by this merciless world, the boy who loved all the people dear to him with all his soul, how he fell in love for the first time and how it broke him, how he fell for the right one again and how it mended his broken heart, how he looked when he smiled at small things that made him so glad, how he slept, how he dealt with everything and anything during the phase while he was becoming a man out of that boy. Have you ever thought for a second what made his eyes turn so cold?

You have this man now but you could never get that portion of his life to which I had the access to. You could never feel, see or touch that lost boy. This man could fall for you but that boy who he once was is gone forever but inhabits my memories."
